Do you think it's true? It's not any of my business but there's something titillating about being caught in the sex act by the public especially if they are celebrities. Somehow, it just makes them more human knowing that they engaged in the same activities that common people do. Not that, being caught in the sex act and not being able to dis-engaged(ha ha) after is a normal occurence. Seriously, is there ever such a medical condition like penis captiva or vaginismus?
According to wikipedia, vaginismus is vaginal tightness causing discomfort, burning, pain, penetration problems, or complete inability to have intercourse. In this case, what supposedly happen between Shaina and John Lloyd couldn't have been vaginismus because the news that was circulating was that they were brought to the hospital still attached to it's other, hence there was already penetration.
As for Penis Captiva, there seems to be no direct definition available on the web. My search led me to a Dr. Ruth Westheimer . According to her, Penis Captiva is an ancient myth originally coined by Sigmund Freud that a woman could trap a man's penis inside her vagina. She further says that there is really nothing to fear since a woman's vaginal muscles might clench up sufficiently to prevent a man from entering her but not so tight that he can't remove his penis. If a man is no longer aroused, he loses his erection and there is no woman whose vagina is tight enough to hold on to a flaccid penis.
Anyway, as always wiki has this to say about penis captivus : apparently it exists but in the rarest of circumstance during heterosexual intercourse when the muscles in the vagina clamp down on the penis much more firmly than usual (a form of vaginismus), making it impossible for the penis to withdraw from the vagina. There was only one reported instance and that was in 1947 but this condition was undocumented and unknown in the 20th century.
Personally, i heard of folk tales about couples unable to disengage themselves from the sexual act. These are usually couples who are engaged in extra-marital relationships mostly involving a married man. Supposedly, one has to have a sexual organ(?) of a pawikan(turtle) and hide it in the man's clothing so that if he ever have sex with other women, he won't be able to withdraw his penis. This probably stems from the fact that turtles mate for hours and male turtle is unable to disengaged it's penis from the female turtle unless the the sexual act is complete. So much for this info, now i know that certain animals like turtle and dogs have copulatory locks. If it weren't for Shaina and John Lloyd, this penis captivus and vaginismus would not even be brought into my consciousness. Exhausting thought.. ha ha...trashy too..
